About ScreenRecorder.
Made for clearer demos.
ScreenRecorder is a Mac screen recorder and editor made by Anil Gautam. The idea is simple: give a useful explanation the presentation it deserves.
Made for showing how something works.
A small product detail can disappear in a full-screen recording. A camera can cover the very control you are explaining. A phone clip can end up surrounded by empty space. The app brings those decisions into a focused editor: direct the zoom, place your camera and choose a canvas that fits.
The same project can be a clear desktop walkthrough or a vertical explanation for a phone. The feature overview explains how the editing tools work and where their limits are.
A Mac app, with local projects.
The native app captures, edits and renders on your Mac. Your source recordings and editable projects stay where you save them. This keeps the video workflow local; license activation is handled separately.
The planned offer is a $29 one-time license with all future Mac app versions included. You can read the full offer and the privacy details before choosing whether the app fits your work.
Built openly about its foundations.
The app extends Screenize, an Apache-2.0-licensed open-source project, and retains its required attribution. ScreenRecorder is independently developed and is not affiliated with Apple or Screen Studio.
The website videos are actual exports from the app, using a fictional workspace and an AI-generated presenter and voice produced separately. They demonstrate the output; they are not customer testimonials or a claim that the Mac app generates voices or presenters.
